Upholstery 114
« on: December 13, 2015, 14:23:53 »
Hello
I have 230SL early '64
607 light ivory with havana brown top 408.
Upholstery is code 114.
This mean : MB-tex natural 2401 and brown carpet.
brown carpet is no problem.
But how to hell looks NATURAL 2401 ???
WHat will be replace with leather?
same pictures?

Thanks
Wojciech

If you go to the technical manual tab, there is a listing for paint and color codes. Click on that link and then go to the upholstery codes. You can then scroll through the various colors, 114 is listed. Below the MB Tex codes are the ones for leather. It appears from the pictures that 210 leather (natural 1068) is a decent match. No substitute for getting a sample from a potential supplier as the colors on the computer screen are not always what you see with the actual leather.

Good luck and welcome to the forum!

I believe light ivory is code 670. My car may have come with the same brown top, if you have a picture of your setup, please share.

I also had the 114 vinyl in my car - I searched for years to find the original material without success.

The equivalent leather is #219, which is also unavailable. The closest official number is #1068.

I ended up buying #3218 Saddle from GAHH. I'm happy with the result - it looks great.
