What is GLEEMS?
« on: February 24, 2016, 16:21:29 »
Hello All,     ( B.S. alert follows - - )

What a crock-of-crap this is!  They say about themselves:

"GLEEMS is becoming one of the leading sources for entertaining and informative automotive content for car fanatics worldwide."

IMHO, their list of "investment worthy" cars is comical. Needless to say, our Pagoda did not make the cut.

What a website of nonsense; it's a poster child for bad websites. OK, its about cars? Why then is there an "infomercial" for herpes treatment? After clicking through a few of the investment worthy cars, another website for boating popped up out of nowhere. When I tried to leave the site it said wait; another window popped up, with a page of photos of things it wanted me to see, such as barn finds, abandoned airplanes, abandoned car dealerships. WTF?

Sheer and utter nonsense; or, to put it in better terms, what a waste of bandwidth.

That's five minutes of my life I'll never get back. Gee, thanks Lurch!  >:(

"On the internet, nobody knows you are a dog". On the other hand, sometimes it really is easy to spot. Keep looking for those sites, it makes you appreciate our group all the more…
