My wife was cleaning out her sewing box (remember those?) and she had a bunch of stuff she was going to throw out when I saw something that looked familiar. Years ago when the car was pretty new I thought that the webbing for the hood support strap wouldn't last so a bought a roll of it from my MB dealer. Well the original webbing has lasted just fine and somehow that roll would up in the sewing box, unseen for years until today
