I understand that a few of you have replaced your automatic transmissions with manual transmissions in your pagodas.

Lots of parts required.............. complete hydraulic system for the clutch with pedal assembly, flywheel, transmission, front drive shaft half, shifter assembly, complete clutch assembly and some wiring modifications to start with. Best to find a parts car with everything you need before you begin.

As Joe stated many parts. I wanted to add that many of the parts are interchangeable from sedans of the era.  However, the transmission shift setup on top of the transmission is SL only.  The shift rod on the transmission drops down further on the SL gearbox. The shifter lever in the car is also SL only but is currently available from Mercedes.
