Today is the 50th Birthday of my beautiful 230SL based on the date on the data card. Almost as old as I am. The second picture is the registration card that was part of a booklet that the new owner got (dated tomorrow) giving details about the car.
She only spent 2 years with her original owner in Stuttgart before she was sold to her second owner, a New York resident that was visiting Germany. She was exported to New York State in November of 1968 after which she would eventually get a third owner, also from New York. She spend 41 years in New York before I had the pleasure to meet her and bring her to Canada in 2009. We've been together ever since.
Unfortunately it is raining today so Diane and I will take her out this weekend.
