« on: November 02, 2016, 13:56:09 »
Hi, I have to replace my cylinder head, wondering if 220SE cylinder head will work perfectly with 230SL head? If not what will be alternative?

Regards,

250SE/SL is your only other choice.

Yes, Dan is correct.  The 220SE head has no provisions for injectors. The 220SE has injectors mounted on the intake manifold.

If I use 250 head is it going to impact engine performance or it will be the same?

It might even be a bit better due to slightly higher compression ratio and larger intake valves of the 250.
