A nice x-mas surprise arrived
« on: December 30, 2016, 00:55:58 »
The postman delivered today a nice surprise from my brother in Germany, it will look great besides my Pagoda model and other model cars I have. What's in your model car collection?

Hahaha Dan, let me know next time you are in town and I let you inspect my maintenance free garage in my man cave ~smile~ Nice to have those to play with and the real mecoy upstairs in the garage.

Notice that the Pagoda is and always will be the Center of attraction.

Hope you and Family had a nice Christmas ... Happy New Year to you and Family!

The only thing better than split loyalties is a '' split window. ''

John,

Now that is a split problem I would like to have.  My garage only fits three, one my for ever Pagoda and two others, a split screen VW Van and a split screen VW pickup and I have not driven either of them yet. The ute I am finishing restoration and awaiting registration hopefully I can get to do that in the next week or two.

Then I can have the problem of what shall I drive.

John,

Far from similar, you are truly living the dream :)

Dieter

 Garry,

The VW was our first ever new car in 1961 after we got married. Linda got me the wooden VW model car at our 10th anniversary. Way back then it started my small model car collection.

Rolf, well similar in that the top three cars on your shelf are in my garage.  I have been fortunate and am grateful.  The Porsche Boxter is being stored for a friend and the MGB is my brother's.  The VW and BMW are my kids cars from high school that they wanted me to keep.  My problem is that in building the new house (garages with house) I haven't been able to drive these cars in months and now it's winter.  This garage is 68 degrees at all times in winter and 45% humidity.  So, the cars are happy but would like to get moving.  There is a desk/office set up in the corner where I can do book work and am composing this response.
