I just did mine. Along the front bottom edge of the frigidking, there are plugs along the bottom. I think 4. Remove those and insert a screwdriver to remove the screws. They are way up inside. In fact, the top edge of the unit is where they secure into the bottom edge of the dash area. Next, in the footwell at the back, there are two screws under the blower -you loosen and the unit will slide up off the mount. Next, on the kick panel, there were two screws also, easily visible. Not all may agree with what I did next but I just cut the heavy black wire going to the power and the light black wire going to the compressor. Then you can drop the entire unit down. Make sure to use two wrenches on the two hose ends for each of the fittings. One off the expansion valve and one off the evaporator. If you don't, the tubes will twist. Then the entire unit comes out in one piece including the wiring harness which you must disconnect. I found it easier to remove the smaller hose from the dryer mounted just outside on the firewall then you only have to wrestle one hose under the dash- again- use a wrench on either side to break loose!
Last, it works best taking the glove box out too prior to any steps. I just rebuilt my system and ready to reinstall! Good luck. Rob
