hi all, does anybody know if a cyl. head from a 1967 250e will fit on my 69 280sel engine? thanks in advance. my head is in need of being re-worked and i found one that has been re-done at a good price. thanks again, bo

a 250se head won't fit as the bores are different size.

Dave is correct, it will not interchange the coolant passages in the block and head are also different.  Also be aware that an early 280 SE,SL cylinder head will not interchange with the late 280 SE, SL cylinder head. 230SL and 250 SL, SE cylinder heads are interchangeable.
