Took my VW Ute to a car show “Great Macedon Grand Tour limited to 150 cars, travelled 300 km. VW did not break down. Woo hoo. Had my old surf board in the back with board shorts tied on as well!!!
Won Best Presented Car in show.
Goes to show that two old hippies in a pickup can still get out there and give the younger fancy cars a run for their money. One Pagoda also in the run. An Austin Healy, many Triumphs, two Rolls Royces, couple of mustangs, other Fords and GM, a few Porsche, few Jag XKE’s, a XK 120, BMW's, in fact just about every thing you can think of including a Cadillac and an Edsel, (that broke down).
