Steering Box Upper Seal - Disc Nut Oring Number
« on: April 16, 2017, 09:36:19 »
Hello,

Maybe I missed it while searching, sorry if so, do we know the part number for the oring that is to be found under the disc nut on the upper part of the steering box? I would like to avoid buying the whole set of seals and I have issues figuring out from EPC which oring is it and if it has a separate number.

I found on the forum that it is possible to replace it relatively easily. My box is sweating a bit in this place, the rest of it is dry.

Or maybe it is of standard size and nobody had an issue getting it?

Ok, will reply to myself, maybe will help someone. I used oring 2,5mm thick, diameter a little over 25mm. 2mm thickness was lose, 3mm thickness did not fit in the seat. I used 2,5mm. No leak, it holds for now.
