Translation help
« on: December 10, 2004, 17:51:23 »
I received a copy of my cars data card (thanks to information on this forum). Can anyone provide a literal translation of: Lockierung, Ausstattung and wenig gewunscht.

Intuitively I know these are exterior code, interior code and soft top, but what do the words mean?

Thanks

Here is a link to a German / English translation site that may be of some value. It works both ways.

"Lockiering" should probably be "Lackierung" and means "Paint"
"Ausstatung" is "Equipment"
"Wenig Gewunscht" means something like "Low Demand" ("few people order this option")

I will add the translation link to the links database, it seems very comprehensive.
