hard top chrome trim

Hi, I have started to strip down my hard top, ready to go to the paint shop. I'm having great difficulty removing the trim surrounding the side windows. I have had no problems with front or rear trims, but with the side, including glass seals & glass ,no luck.
Anyone have any ideas?
