Coil Spring pad id??

Is there a way to tell what spring pad thickness I have once I remove it?
I will working on the diff and eill replace all rubber . I am happy with the way the car sits

Yes, they have a part number on them IIRC, but you could also measure them. You will find the precedure here somewhere.

I think there may only be one thickness of upper available now but I think you will find the uppers to be quite pliable and fine to reuse.  The lowers which are very thin will most likely be done.

I read the part number on mine
Pn 1083250385 ( supose to be 18mm)
But when I measure I get 23mm?
Is the original pn an error?

Hi Erick,
It is most unlikely to have an incorrect number on a Mercedes part. I am visiting in the UK and will only be able to make sence of this when at home and can look it up in my original parts manual.
In the mean time, hopefully someone might chime in and help us out.

I managed to confirm that part number 1083250385 is correct for the 18 mm ring.
The image I posted is possibly NOT the correct Mercedes procedure to measure the height.

I came across this I think when working on my car, but stayed quiet as I was not sure... Try measuring just the seat height, not the full thickness. So try to measure the height in the place where the coil wire ends vs. the base. That is, I think, what I figured in the past.
