I have recently spoken to the person who dyed my turquoise carpet. He took a white German Square Weave carpet and dyed it turquoise. This was accomplished by using scientific equipment and analysis, to create a dye match to an original sample obtained from under the parcel shelf. Once the dye sample was approved, he has the proper equipment in his lab to dyed the small amount of carpet for our cars. He recently dyed a another turquoise carpet for a club member in Austrialia who read about my carpet in Pagoda World wanted turquoise carpet and is very pleased with the results.
He told me he would be interested in helping others looking for carpet colors in either wool or nylon that are no longer available. If anyone is interested in getting carpet colors that are NLA, you may want to contact Jeffery Krauss at North Carolina State University, to see if he can help.
