W107 top on a W113
« on: January 05, 2018, 19:17:31 »
Hi, My name is Gerry Monaghan, I collect classic cars in Dublin, Ireland. Would a soft top from a 1980  280sl  convertible fit a 1967 Pagoda California. I  would be most grateful for any advise .  Sincerely; Gerry.   Ph. 00353862567134

Hello Gerry, It will not fit. Better to leave the car as it is and wait for those occasional days of California weather to enjoy it topless.

Dave
I did not know that there is a state of California now in Ireland?
Perhaps it is just me....

Dieter,
I know it does, it was supposed to be funny, I guess it was not?

Yes, attempted humour. I should have put California in quotes, or said very occasional.
I am British born but lived in California (LA) for two years and much prefer California weather, except the fog & smog.
I bought my car in San Francisco, Woodland is nearby right?
