Luggage rack

I ran across the following car on ebay, can someone tell me if this is an orginal luggage rack? I had thought they only clipped into the hardtop?

Ken.
This is an after market luggage rack. the luggage rack that Mercedes-Benz offered fits to the two chromem bars on the hard top to hold the special luggage that was optional.
