New Brake Discs and Pads
« on: January 15, 2005, 08:03:32 »
Hello All,

Question?

Is there any reason not to drive the car after replacing 1 front and 1 rear disc and pads?

The other 1 Front and 1 Rear Disc has not arrived yet and I want to start this job today and go ahead and replace 1 front and 1 rear disc with new pads.  But I also want to drive the car this weekend.

I heard that it is always best to do this in pairs, so dont want to ruin the new set for the 1 side.

Comment?  Suggestions?

Thanks!
Bob

Unless your pads are near catastrophic failure, I don't see a need to start the work.  Might as well do it all in one job and not have to clean up twice.
