Fuel Lines, Cad Plating
« on: January 18, 2005, 20:11:10 »
sent some fuel lines for cad plate , is it ok if I do not block the ends of the lines?sent the parts to a aerospace company with a friend who is a mechanic on planes . It would be way more expensive to block them .....don't ask , they would need special instruction sheets from the forman since they only work on plane parts

I had a similar concern when I dropped off a valve cover for Cad plating two days ago (non-MB car).  It's difficult for the platers to block off areas that you don't want coated; in my case I just needed the outside of the valve cover done.

Is there any harm in having the inside of a valve cover cad plated, or in Erick's case the inside of a fuel line?

Thx.
