Oil Filter Comparison
« on: December 27, 2018, 21:30:43 »
Found this on another site and thought members here might be interested.  Not really applicable to a Pagoda but I know they are used in multiple other cars.

I'm using the Gold filter with a spin on adapter available from the 190 SL Group.

I liked the foldable pull handle (like in the old fashioned kettle) on the one I got from MB, so this is the one I use.

Aren't most of these tests actually of the visual and comparitive qualitative assessments of the build and material quality of the oil filters? Would a more useful test be, ignoring the materials, how well it filters the oil? Just saying...
