Hi All,
Took my 230sl out today for a drive and came home. Went to park the car in the garage and noticed that the brake pedal was virtually on the floor. Checked the fluid reservoir and it's full? Don't know when the fluid was last changed but master cylinder and brake servo looks to be quite new. Is it worth bleeding the system first to check for trapped air before purchasing another master cylinder?
Next new issue is when you turn the steering wheel the horn starts to sound intermittently. Have removed the steering wheel to reveal a copper ring beneath. Is it possible to adjust the ring downwards to prevent contact when turning the steering wheel?
Thanks for the advice,
Matt
