Unless you've been living under a rock, you certainly know about the impending Cat4 Hurricane Florence slowly but surely lollygagging its way to the Carolinas.

Let's hope our members there find safe refuge. Family first, Pagodas second...

My son-in-law, wife and kids evacuated from Charleston, SC to our place in Birmingham yesterday.  My son and family are sitting tight in Wake Forrest, NC.  We are following storm news closely.

We do have a good number of members in the area and we hope that they and their property come through safely.

I saw a decent tip yesterday.... if evacuating, the dishwasher is a good place to store valuables you cannot take with you. Watertight and often bolted to other units/always heavy

Obviously won't work for a car but the history file...
