If this is a repeat post, sorry. I'm not sure if my first attempt posted.

I got an E-mail from Michael Salemi yesterday saying among other things I should get back on the forum.

good to be back

Hello Al,
Welcome back. I thought your car was green, is that a new one?

Indeed, glad to see you are back into the mix.

My clock also is still on my garage wall. Alas, it is not fully original. I had to do a motor replacement, so it is no longer numbers matching...!

Yes, welcome back!

Here's the whole story, people!  After PUB 2009, Al put together a commemorative wall clock, that had a face of the Pagoda Clock, and sold it at a very reasonable price. I had this clock on my wall for years, until I moved offices in my home to a smaller room that didn't have the wall space. So, the clock sat on the shelf...

A few weeks ago, a family favorite clock (the Seattle clock) in our home ceased working. Going online to find a clock movement was easy and they were cheap. However, there were so many different ones with different sizes, I was stymied. On a lark, I went to see if the clock movement from the Pagoda clock would fit Seattle. Lo and behold, it was exactly the same. So I pulled the swap, and Seattle was back on the wall working.

I then contacted Al--who had surreptitiously gone missing a while ago, and he told me where I could get a replacement for Pagoda. I then suggested we missed him--for those that don't know him he has a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Again, welcome back Al!!!!!
