If it were on ebay, the ad would read: "I'm selling this for a friend so I don't know too much about it, but I understand it's a rare one-off factory prototype R107 roadster....... "

If anybody has 107 data card info, isn't this a special tail lamp option for Espanola, New Mexico?  I seem to remember something like that..maybe it was a special edition for Havana? ;)

Actually this is what happens when GM stylists marry European beauties... :D

OH MAN !!!! That's too funny.  I love it!

Could you imagine driving up in this thing at Star Fest or some other national event just so you could give a few '' stiff neck's '' a bad case of whiplash?  Worth every cent just as a conversation piece.

Apart from the fact that it's not a standard MB colour and the steering wheel is definitely in the wrong place, I can't see what's wrong with that ;)

After all, by the time US regulators had ruined later versions of this car with bumpers (fenders) the size of battleships, it looked pretty crap anyway. I can only assume the raising of the lights was also a saftey feature ;)

Isn't this the car that used to belong to Kermit the frog or was it the Green Lantern...

It is good to see the winter has not diminished the groups sense of humor, the comments are funnier than the crazy car.

I remember when the '59 Caddy first came out and the joke back then was why did they have those big fins??
Yhe answer was 'So you could tell the front from the back"
They looked the same without them...
 Beautiful car in the convert.
Worth more than the Benz now...

The add says, "Turns heads". It should read, "Turns stomachs".

There!  It's out!  Count me in on not a Bangle Fan Club.
