Bonnet hinges fitting
« on: March 02, 2019, 05:51:31 »
Hi guys, my restoration on a customers 250SL is almost finished. I’m almost ready to refit the bonnet and hinges.
I’ve just noticed the hinges are a LH and RH fitment. Can someone please tell me which is which. The pic shows the way I think they go, (RH side) with the pivot towards the front, which also puts the tapper on the hinge on the front. My reasoning is the bonnet can open over the tapper.
Thanks for your help
Cheers
Chris
