New EPC passwords
« on: March 19, 2019, 04:14:17 »
Has anybody had to change their password on the new EPC? My guess is that they are requiring a password change every 90 days. Are they just intentionally making this so inconvenient that people will stop using it?

I just changed mine and they want 3 of the 4 requirements covered. Not a big deal but you want to insure to not forget your password since you will need to contact the tech support desk. I never had an issue but a buddy of mine did.

I think this is the sign of today.  Many corporations have this kind of or more severe protection systems. The reality of attacks on corporations systems indeed happen. If the system is vital, you would have a prompt every 30 days to change the password.

Just life these days, I think.

I do income taxes and last year 2017. the IRS started to make you change passwords every 90 Days. This is with my software I use.
I assume this is with all software packages. It is a real pain in the you know what.
