electronic ignition system

hello all .

I am planning to change the Ignition system ( distributor and ignition coil ) to electronic one , any advise and what is the best brand ?

The 123 sysrem seems to have the most fans. (Mostly) Americans also like other systems manufactured by Crane and Pertronix, however the beauty of the 123 system is that it also replaces the entire distributor, rather than only the points.

I have a 1-2-3 system and it performs well, ‘71 280SL.

I also have the 1 2 3 ignition. Runs perfect, love it.

I've fitted many, many 123 dizzies. They're excellent.

I have also installed the Pertronix system about 6 years ago and so far it is working well.
Easy to install and not very expensive
