I worked in a body shop in northern Minnesota and in a slow time the owner decided to make a new sign for the shop. Keeping in mind we normally worked on pretty crappy American cars of the late 80's he decided to go upscale and adorn the sign with high end logos (Mercedes, Audi, Porsche etc.). Within a week he received a certified letter from Mercedes's lawyers telling him to remove the logo or face a lawsuit for copyright infringement. Of corse he did what I have seen countless pirate shops do since. He went out and turned the Mercedes logo into a peace sign with the flick of a brush.
