Front refreshment

Hi all few photos to share from front confinement  refreshment with Frameto and Owatrol for surface rust.
Next will be with new paint.

I'm curious about the coolant decals.  The  reminents look original. Can you post pictures of both sides? More detailed engine photos in general would be also appreciated👍

Follow some more pictures.
Actually the decals aren’t originals but bought on E bay. I sticked them at the place I thought right but it’s only from my point of wiew and nothing official.
I will post some more specially the coolant canister when it’s reassembled.

I just did a major sympathetic restoration under the hood of my 1966 230SL Barn Find. It was very detailed and time consuming but the end result is fantastic.

It is a bigger job than it looks - I experienced that doing my W463.

It's a tremendous amount of work and hours. You control the outcome based on your input.
