New Ribbed Black Sill Mats - SOLD!
« on: February 18, 2020, 23:38:00 »
I have two pieces of a ribbed black sill mat for sale which are new and unused. These were purchased three years ago before the color I need (grey) was available. They are both 48" long and 4" wide.

I am asking $20 for the pair plus $7 shipping.

Thank you.

Wallace,

Please,
where did you find the grey ribbed sill mats?

Do you have pictures of yours?
I am after (dark) grey ribbed sill mats for a quarter of a Century now. :P :-X
Only poor replacements with wrong color .... :-\

Thanks a lot!

Achim,

This all started me in the direction with this thread https://www.sl113.org/forums/index.php?topic=30415.0 You may have seen it. So what peaked my interest was the fact that bright red interiors should have the medium grey mats. I have a '60 220SE W128 with such an interior color and had bought black sill mats (which is what I am selling) but recently found medium grey. Yahoo!

So that should be correct for that car. My W111 has cognac which should have dark brown which is not available that I have seen. Too bad because that would look nice. I use black for that and is OK. You are looking for dark grey that Aaron mentioned and I have not seen that. But to answer your question, the following people I found have the medium grey mat and I am sure there are others - Authentic Classics and Mbclassics.de. So these are not what you are looking for if you need dark grey. Sorry.

If you know somebody that carries the dark brown mats, I would be very grateful.   :)

Thanks, Wallace,

Yes, I have seen that discussion thread but have not followed everything until today.
Now I have re-read !  ;)

On Peter's car  I only dislike a bit the ivory door sill rubber mats, which look odd to me.
He should get more correct green ones,
e.g. from where I got mine:

https://www.ok-gummiwerk.de/produkt/en-turschwellerauflage-fur-klassische-mercedes-benz-fahrzeuge/?lang=en#prettyPhoto[product-gallery]/0/

Luckily they have got "grey" for me and the quality is outstanding but unluckily (also) for me, it's too bright for my '64 which clearly had darker grey door sill rubber mats...
Well....    ::) ???
