Some owners swear by sourcing everything at the Mercedes dealer. What you need to consider is, that most gaskets and filters are sourced by Mercedes from suppliers, than packed in MB boxes and sold with a horrendous mark-up. Depending on what you need, you will find the same parts directly from the supplier or wholesale houses in the supplier's packaging. I bought oil and fuel filters made by Mann & Hummel and engine gasket kits from Elring on the internet. Cheaper than at the MB dealer, but the same parts.
