1970 280 SE with 2.8 straight six MFI
Does anyone know where I can obtain the check valve that is on the injection pump for the fuel line from the gas tank? Its part number 000-074-22-84

Are you sure it is on the supply side of the pump and not the return at the rear of the pump?  The front fitting is usually open and the rear fitting is the check valve.
