Seat belt guide
« on: May 21, 2020, 14:09:25 »
My 280sl has a three point harness with the retractable reel mounted below the rear bench.

Somewhere back down the line the bench was rough cut with a jig saw which has over time caused the carpet to fray.

I have a friend with a CNC mill so going to have this custom trim plate made from 1/8” aluminum. If anyone is interested lmk and can see about getting a batch made up.

What you have done definitely looks better than what you started with. A simple "no cut" method has the belt pass through the space between the carpeted shelf and the upholstered side pillar panel.
