Good catch!! Maybe it has a Ford Mustang engine...
I'm not looking to step on anyone's toes--unless, of course, they deserve it. I looked around and saw one where the guy said something like "no critics, just buyers". I mean, if you're going to post it...
I don't think it is unwise to consider from where anyone is coming. Personally, I'm thinking seriously about selling mine; thinking as a buyer is maybe the inverse of that. If I were going to buy one it could be like the one I bought, which was one that wasn't really restored, just one that had been very well maintained while it was being driven. I don't think it is good for them to sit, and I think we've all seen examples--who knows what the deal is with this one--where knobs and things literally fall off in your hand. And, so it has X number of miles on it, and in addition it has been sitting and the engine has not been rebuilt... Who knows. I wonder if, based on a web link, people will fly somewhere and plop down a bunch of money for a car like this.
There are people who treat these or other old or hobby cars better than their wives. One theory is to find these situations.
And most of all, how, or by whom, is it going to be driven? That's the problem with mine--what the Hell do I do with it? It is the wrong car for Denver. I think when these cars first hit the U.S. they were, more than anything else, the ultimate Southern California sports car. I bought mine in La Jolla (actually, Ranch Santa Fe) and another theory is maybe that's where it belongs.
I respect the opinions of how, or why, or whatever. Sure, it's in the eye of the beholder...
