Sent messages no longer working?

Maybe this is user error, but when I select to look at my sent messages, I get an empty list.

Am I the only one?

No issue for me: messages sent and received are present.

When you send a PM it is not saved as standard. You have to click the checkbox at the bottom of the message to save it...

Just sent a PM to admin, and checked the "save copy" box.
Hasn't shown up in messages yet. Is there an expected lag time?

I received them (as admin, 2x).
Did you check your sent  messages by going to your "My Messages" inbox, and then selecting "Sent Items" ?

There should not be any lag at all...

when i click on messages  i get read or send, no other option, and when click on read i get 0   messages in my folder. i don't even see the 2 messages you've received. the only place i will
them is in the original thread with all the other postings on that topic

This is a two step process, don't give up too early.
Step 2: click on messages and you'll see the "sent" folder.

Thanks for the clarification. Never noticed some of the more intricate functionality.
Now i can go back 10 or 11 years and see what was confusing me back then. 
And i appreciate that members are willing to jump in and share their knowledge and experience.

Now i can see the most recent sent messages, but the older ones are gone.
Well, whatever. Nothing major!
