Hi All,
I have a 2013 ML350 4MATIC with 45,xxx on the clock. I took the car to my independent MBZ mechanic for an oil service and they found a leak coming from the transfer case (#2 on a scale of 0-5 with 5 being worst). My mechanic said leaking transfer cases are a common and known issue and the repair to remove the transfer case and reseal would be about $1,400!
Have any members out there had success with getting MBNA to step up and cover a portion or all of the repair when the car is out of warranty as it's a known issue? My car is out of the 4/50K warranty. Appreciate any suggestions or advice on how to proceed with MBNA!
Thanks,
Nate
