New Head Gasket
« on: October 21, 2020, 00:42:07 »
I have installed a new head gasket and torqued it down but had to remove the head. Since this engine has not run can I reuse the gasket?

Some head gaskets you can "anneal" and re-use. I don't think ours you can. I would not do this. It is a $80.- item if you shop around. Little money for peace of mind and avoiding serious issues.

Head gasket can't be used again. It's one time only.
