Hi Mauro,

Looks likes the Parking brake cable.

Do you think it needs to be replaced or what? The parking brake is working fine. Maybe needs to be pulled?

Usually the cables hang loosely under the car when the parking brake is  not used, but not so far down as on the picture.

I suggest to first check if they can to be adjusted.

Yes right now the parking brake is not pulled. When the car is in flat ground I prefer to put in gear rather than with brake. Should be easily fixed right ?

Nope, not parking brake cable, but the Speedo cable.  Thick soft rubber insulation on half of it is the clue.
Use a small zip tie to hold it closer to the transmission.

The Speedo cable ? I didn’t know that was doing such a route around the gearbox . I have to raise the car and should be easily fixed right?

Yep, raise and tie the cable up, wire, zip tie at the point where the clutch is, allow the cable to keep a curve, not bent at point in rear where inserts to transmission.

Thank you, I will bring the car to my mechanic because I don’t have the jack stands. In case this cable need to be replaced, is there a spare part?
