This was a Motoring Investments vehicle which had been listed for sale for the past three years.... I had personally seen it.....nice vehicle, Brian was asking $119K at the time...great buy at $105K.

If he couldn't sell it for 3 years at $119k maybe that was the wrong price, and $105k was more realistic.  If anything I thought it was a little on the high side.  But for a very nice car.

Scott is 100% correct. The car sold at a more realistic price. I saw this car over 3 years ago and it was a nice car then, but not "$119K nice". I also suspected that the mileage was not accurate. Car seemed to have more wear than the 41,000+ miles shown on the odometer. Possibly somewhere along the line that odometer stopped working or was rolled back??

"Realistic" prices are exactly at a level that someone wants to pay for a car. You may not watch this, but recently prices for Porsche 914s have skyrocketed. Especially for 914-4s that have been converted to "fake" 914-6es. And while all we "experts" consider these prices "unrealistic" people pay for them.
I agree with Shvegel, that the price for this car is a drop. Good condition (not even excellent) W113s are not to be had under 120K.
Scoot seems to have the inside track to lower prices for everything associated with the W113, Bundt wheels and all...

Hi Mark,

Will do! Just waiting for my wheel trim rings and I'll snap some photos. 519 "Light Red" is darker than the more common 568 "Signal Red". I believe it was only offered through 1965.

Having seen this $105,000 in person, an unrestored clean car with proper patina and documentation presented by someone who knows 113's perhaps better than most, will always fetch a fair price, moving forward this car everything going for it.

I have no idea what that is supposed to mean.  I've sold a lot of aluminum steelies, never Bundts, and not much else associated with w113.

Never have seen this car but sure looked nice from the photos. I had to go out in the garage and pet mine on the hood $105K...Wow.
