Log-In
« on: November 27, 2020, 15:13:54 »
Lately, I am having a minor issue when trying to log in.
There are three log-in buttons when you first come to the log-in page.
Two light blue ones and one orange one.
Depending on the sequence I am klicking, I am getting an error message and have to try again.
Anybody else?

I just stay logged in and use the "Unread Posts" results as a shortcut on my desktop.
Any time I want to catch up or go on the site I just click on the shortcut, and get right to the unread posts page.

Same as Gary. I actually logged in probably only three or four times (from a desktop, tablet and smartphone) since I became a member almost exactly a year ago. Otherwise hooking into the site (Technical Manual or blog) at any and all times, probably twice a day on average, without any issues, even after restarting any one of my electronic gizmos.

My experience has been for accouple of years is the following.

Go to the line that has the Home button (in orange) and go the extreme right .
There is a log in selection. Click on this selection and you get in every time.
It has worked for me for a few years.
Other log in selections have problems.

Hi Mike,

can you do the following:

And then login as the attachment explains. After that you should get the behaviour that Garry mentioned, no more need to log in, as long as you never log out. Just close your browser window. The cookie keeps your login details.

1970 280SL. System Admin of the site. Please do not mail or PM me questions on Pagoda's... I'm not likely to know the answer.  Please post on the forum instead!
