Data plate under hood

Hello everyone .
I’m in need of some help .
I’m trying to decipher my data plate under my hood on the drivers side fender .
I understand certain numbers , however I’m confused by some .
So here goes

1st line to the right reads 491 503 (why only six numbers ??)
2nd line reads 576 G - - - ( I’m aware this means the color of the car , but why the dashes for the hard top ??)
3rd line reads 113044 10 7 ( to my understanding 113 body style , 044 meaning 280 sl , 10 for it being a Manual , but what does the 7 mean ?)
4th line reads 60249 82316 ( I don’t know what the first 5 numbers mean The second set of numbers is the body number which is also stamped on the hood )

I want to thank everyone that helps me out understand these Numbers !

The dashes in the second line mean your car didn't originally come with a hard top.  If it has one now it was obtained by a previous owner somewhere.

The 7 in the third line means your car was originally a US destination car.

As mentioned, you would do well to become a member here if you plan to do anything more with your car than drive it.
