Front Suspension Bolt Torquing - Lubricated or Dry

Hi All,

Apologies if this has been covered I did try searching the forum before posting and drew a blank.

I have rebulit my front subframe and am going to torque the bolts. This will include upper and lower control arm mounting bolts, subframe mount bolts, lower kingpin bolts, etc.

I have all the correct values available from the BBB but wondered if these values are for dry or lubricated bolts/nuts?

The forum covers cylinder head bolts adequately with a consensus that these should be lubricated. I can't find anything for the subframe / suspension.

Bolts being torqued should always be clean and dry unless specified otherwise. Lubricating a torqued bolt when not required can cause you to over-tighten the bolt and potentially break it.
