For that you can look here - https://www.sl113.org/wiki/DataCard/OptionCodes and here - https://www.sl113.org/wiki/DataCard/Start
For example, in the second line on your card, you see box 44, with a number "0" in it - this is the code for 440 - "Bumpers with guards, front and rear"
Or, the next box that has a number in it is box 46, with a "1" in it - this the code for 461 - "Instrument with mileage reading and English lettering"
You get the idea

Hey Kirk! My car is 56 units after yours in the serial number. My production-no is 960359 and the body no is 7337
would be very much interested to see the casting stampings on the head on the left side, if you could take a picture!

Never mind. If you are sure it is a 280SE/A, I will not need it. I am looking for someone with a 280SEL/SL head.

Does anyone know if I can get the data card that suppose to go underneath the drivers side door latch. Can the classic center provide that

Off the top of my head try Authentic Classics or Memmo’s (Memo’s?) website in Germany. Do a search.

I would also try calling the Classic Center. A couple of years ago I was able to order some of these plates from MB dealer. It took proving the ownership, but was possible.

I thought Memmo does the printing for you also. You would have to check.

Mehmet will type the VIN as well; his website: http://pagode-markt.de/ and email: info@pagode-markt.de.
Mehmet produced a body/paint plate for me and the VIN plate that goes on the firewall (230SL) https://www.sl113.org/forums/index.php?topic=23916.msg171950#msg171950. He does great work and you won't be disappointed. vr,,chas
