Spotted a 280SL automatic heading towards London on the A3. Was moving large plant, situated on the passenger seat, another advantage of convertibles!
I think the number plate was something like EVN772J? Dark blue with a tan interior?
Couldn’t get a photo as only one in the car and police get very upset if one starts taking photos on the move!
Bessy (name of my 230) was looking for a toy boy but unfortunately he wasn’t interested 🤣
