Automatic to 6 speed manual conversion

   There is a Getrag 6 speed manual transmission kit That you can buy to convert your 280 SE coupe to a manual shift. it’s supposedly has all the parts in the kit to completely convert to manual shift. Would be interested to know if anyone has bought this kit and made the conversion. It’s not cheap about 12,000 US.

if you have a column shift you will need a new steering column
and a clutch pedal.
I removed them from a parts car, if you go ahead.
I also have a 4 speed manual gearbox.
