« on: April 03, 2021, 16:41:40 »

4.  UNKNOWN thumb screws - what are these for?
5.  Misc. tail light retaining nuts
6.  Emergency bezels for early hazard switches
7.  Early chrome wiper caps that screw on - really heavy - what cars are these for?
8.  Long odometer/potentiometer knobs - what are these for?  W111 coupes?
9.  Unknown small thumbscrews. ?
10.  Vent levers for ? - badali says they are later heat levers for 111 sedan.
11.  Vent levers for ?
12.  Chrome vent levers - maybe for W111 coupes?- badali says they are early heat levers for 111 sedan.
13.  AC knobs - for which units?

14.  Part of rear view mirror.
15.  Misc switch knobs
16.  Small AC knobs - for which cars?
17.  Ivory seat back release/turn signal knobs
18.  Misc bezels
19.  Thumb screws for what?  Clocks on a W108?

Good guess, but my recollection is that those thumb screws aren't internally threaded all the way through to the top.  In other words, I think the part for the carpet cover is flat on top, not showing an internal thread.

On first look, I thought the #4 knobs were for that too, but the knobs/screws holding down the parcel shelves are male

12 is the early heat levers for 111 Sedans.  They are plastic in later models for impact protection.

10 is for later model 111 sedans.

#19 could be the knobs that clamp the bulb holder to the front of the central instrument cluster.

Further to Alfred's note above, also for connecting the tach, speedo and clock to their rear mounting brackets?

#1 are press-in grease fittings, 2 per door (1 per hinge).  Be careful mine were screw-in and instantly broke when I tried to remove them because they were plugged and wouldn't accept grease.  I had to drill them out and press in the ones you call #1.  By the way, if you order the original screw-in type by part number from Mercedes, you will still get the press-in version and have to rework your door hinges for them to work - don't bother to ask me how I know.

In my earlier post, I misidentified the wiper shaft caps (#1) as grease fittings.  A closer look reveals that there is no hole or grease gun cone.  Sorry.
