Yes, these are the part numbers I see as well. Look, I am not pushing "my option" I am just curious now (I have this set I am talking about and it works well for me). I do not want to, however, push option that may not work for anyone.
So let's see what Tom says.
You have:
A 115 811 00 65 RING SA 55911/37 L.H.D.; RIGHT FRONT DOOR,CONVEX GLASS; availability: forget it
footnote: As of ident. no.: 113.044 016318
and, as I said
A 108 811 00 65 RETAINING RING SA 55911/37 L.H.D.; RIGHT FRONT DOOR,CONVEX GLASS; availability 72hours, ca $25
footnote: Up to ident. no.: 113.043 UNTIL PRODUCTION STOP 113.044 016317
At 044 016317 both the convex glass PN and its ring PN was changed (so far the regular ring was used for Convex glass). Then the glass with the new number is available now, the ring with the new number was discontinued and the previous ring is available (which is and was the regular ring). Looks to me Daimler decided that the regular ring is good enough and they delisted the new convex ring - this is my theory.
No idea what was the glass change at 016317.
The MB convex glass is a bit "blueish". My car has the VIN above 016317.
Installation was a bit tricky, as I said before, so maybe the fit is not perfect until the plastic settles - that is because the parts do not fit each other 100%. Eventually, however, it works.
