Purchased my 69 280SL in December. A presale inspection was done my the local MB dealership at location of car. Multiple belts and gaskets were found to need replacement. This was done and deal noted no further leaks. The transmission side cover/modulator is now leaking. A service record that came with the car shows this gasket was replaced in September at the same dealership. Not possible to return to dealership. Is this a common problem that I will just have to live with?
Presale inspection noted fuel pump and injector pump leaking. Both were replaced prior to sale at dealership. Car takes 3 or 4 tries with pumping to start. Is this typical?
