Exhaust Expansion When Getting Hot
« on: November 20, 2021, 18:15:54 »
How much should I assume for exhaust getting longer as it gets hot? At the end of the pipes, after the rear muffler, there is this cross member between the pipes and I think it should be right under the rubber buffer  there when the exhaust is hot. How much shall I plan for exhaust expansion when I am fitting it cold?

I only have experience from work on W463, shorter exhaust expanded good 2cm there.

Don't expect it to expand much Pawel. I never had any issues.
