The Value of This Club & It's Members
« on: December 11, 2021, 22:06:36 »
Hello All;
I cannot overemphasize how great this club, forum, and its members have been. Owning a classic car can be a challenge at times as we all know, and having the input of others, the great write ups, resources, and assistance from others is beyond measure. The annual membership fee is the proverbial bargain.
   Recently, I was trying to get the status of an order with Buds Benz, and member Alex Djuric, Secretary of the Pagoda SL Group, kindly offered to help, and email me not long ago. David Latham, owner of Buds Benz, contacted me and was great, resolved all issues, and my parts were delivered soon after. He even kindly offered to send a crate to ship my underdash A/C unit for rebuild. My prior order was just taking a little longer than anticipated, and my concerns were unwarranted.
   I'm preparing for a full paint job on my SL being taken down to bare metal, and the input from fellow members regarding their experiences and paint suggestions has been invaluable. I look forward to getting my car back on the road and meeting many of you in person this summer in 2022. Thanks again to all...
Best regards,
Joe
